Fennwood at The Carlton Winemakers Studio
For decades, the Hamptons have been known for their work in sustainable forestry. In 2016, third-generation siblings Jamey, Elizabeth, and David Hampton expanded their focus by planting Tall Tree Vineyard near Monmouth, Oregon. This step marked a natural extension of their connection to the land and introduced them to the world of winemaking. In 2018, the Hamptons purchased Fennwood Vineyard, a marine sedimentary site along the southeast edge of the Yamhill-Carlton AVA. This 58-acre vineyard, planted to both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, is one of the most unique vineyards in Oregon.
Tastings are available daily at The Carlton Winemakers Studio.
