At The Carlton Winemakers Studio in Carlton, Oregon, we offer a line of diverse wines: Founders. This wine collection marks a tribute to the original visionaries who transformed winemaking in the Willamette Valley by dreaming up The Studio as a collaborative, first-of-its-kind winemaking facility. Launched in 2018 with a Pinot Noir crafted by Eric Hamacher (previously of Lazy River Vineyards), Founders has since evolved under the expert guidance of winemaker Mel Liebeck. Mel’s extensive experience, gained from regions as diverse as Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and France, brings a unique perspective to the Founders portfolio.
