The Allison Inn & Spa
Located just 18 miles from downtown Portland in Oregon wine country’s Willamette Valley, The Allison Inn & Spa is situated on 35 beautiful hillside acres surrounded by vineyards, orchards and rich agricultural farmland. The luxury destination resort features 85 spacious guest room accommodations and suites, all of which boast a gas fireplace, private terrace or balcony with views of the sweeping valley or vineyard hillside, custom furnishings, original local artwork, and a spa-like bathroom with 6-foot soaking tub and separate shower.
Awarded the prestigious LEED Gold Certification less than a year after opening in the fall of 2009, The Allison blends naturally into the lush beauty of the landscape with minimal impact. The only resort of its kind in the area, The Allison reflects the ample bounty of Oregon as well as the unique character and heritage of neighboring rural communities.
Experience tranquility in the award-winning spa dedicated to health and wellbeing. With more than 15,000 sq. ft., The Allison Spa boasts 14 treatment spaces including a Halotherapy room, eucalyptus-infused steam rooms, cedar saunas, indoor swimming pool with outdoor terrace, whirlpool, fitness studio, dedicated lounges, a couple’s suite, nail salon, spa café and retail boutique.
The Allison Spa uses natural and local products, and is uniquely known for its “pinotherapy” treatment, a Pinot-inspired botanical and biological therapy produced by wine and grape seed extracts derived from The Allison resort’s own seven-acre vineyard. Spa experiences can be personalized with wellness options such as yoga, meditation and stretch therapy.
JORY, The Allison hotel’s signature restaurant named after the fertile soil that makes the Willamette Valley an incredible wine destination, spotlights the abundance of Oregon wine country with a strong emphasis on seasonal, farm-to-table cuisine coupled with an extensive 500+ label wine list.
In keeping with the farm-to-table theme, The Allison resort has a 1.5-acre garden and greenhouse just steps away from the kitchen. Cared for by a master gardener and beekeeper, the garden provides freshly grown ingredients year-round for JORY’s seasonal menu. The hard-working bees pollinate various garden crops and produce excellent honey for the restaurant’s use.
