Siltstone Wines
Siltstone Wines was established in 2000 by the Myers family in Oregon’s renowned winegrowing region, the Willamette Valley. They produce authentic Oregon wine with their estate grown Pinot noir, Pinot gris, Sauvignon blanc and Rose of Pinot noir. All of the Myers family vineyards are farmed Certified Sustainable by the Food Alliance. Joel Myers first planted grapes in the 1960s and has been farming premium wine grapes professionally since 1980 with his wife Louise. They carry on that tradition today with two of their sons, Joey and David. Their son John helped develop the family business and is now practicing law while his wife Melissa is working in Public Health after spending many vintages on the crush pad. David’s wife, Heather, manages the tasting room and marketing for Siltstone. The Myers produce about 1,000 cases of wine under the Siltstone label from Guadalupe Vineyard, Blacktail Vineyard, and Owl Ranch Vineyard. A limited quantity of their premium Pinot noir label, J. Myers & Sons, is blended from select barrels after exceptional vintages.
