Jachter Family Wines

Penner-Ash Wine Cellars

You’ll travel a long, swooping driveway to reach Penner-Ash Cellars, but the reward is worth the journey. Settle on the east facing patio just above the Estate Pinot Noir vines for expansive views of the Chehalem Valley and the Cascades, as Mount Hood sparkles in the distance. Inside, the tasting room welcomes you with a wall of windows to capture the sights as you indulge in the Penner-Ash collection of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and other varietals.

Compris Vineyard

Compris Vineyard sits nestled in Newberg’s rolling countryside, part of the Chehalim Mountain AVA. Taking a traditional hands-off, natural approach lets the terroir and varietal truly shine in their wines. As you enjoy their Chardonnay, Viognier, Pinot Noir, Syrah, or Tempranillo, you’ll take in views that are all-natural too. The Vineyard Overlook offers a stunning vista — over the vineyard with the Dundee Hills rising off in the distance as the sun shines over it all.

Alexana Winery

At Alexana, you’re in the heart of the Willamette Valley, with the sublime views to prove it. A breathtaking 180-degree vista captures this beautiful estate and the glorious valley itself in the distance. A collection of top-class wines including Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay awaits you. Sit inside or out, with a heated outdoor deck and an indoor space sharing the views. Here, the only distraction from your surroundings is the wine in your glass.

Anacréon Winery

On the beautiful Belle Colline vineyard, along a historic stretch in the Chehalem Mountains AVA, Anacréon Winery awaits. As a breeze flows off the vineyard, taste in a relaxed outdoor space complete with a bocce court. This intimate boutique winery is also home to owners Danell and Kipp Myers. Featuring Pinot Noir and Chardonnays, you can experience personally curated tastings on this stunning property where the valley goes on seemingly forever.

Arlyn Vineyard

Alongside Dopp Creek on the south slope of the Chehalem Mountains AVA, Arlyn Vineyard owner Janis Pate invites you to experience and share in the winery’s journey first hand. Stroll the rows of vines and meet the vineyard dog Cooper. Then settle in with a view of the working farm, vineyard and the mountains in the distance. Janis herself leads the tastings of her wonderful collection of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

De Lancellotti Family Vineyard

On a gorgeous 10 acres at the top of the hill along Calkins lane, De Lancellotti Family Vineyard beckons. With a tasting house and patio looking out over the winery itself, you’ll have a view across the vines that produce the wine in your glass. In any direction, the landscape is stunning, from the nearby Chehalem Mountains, to the beautiful valley below. Take it all in, as you savor tastes of their limited production estate wines.

Adelsheim

Surrounded by lush farms and old-growth fir forests, Adelsheim was the first winery in the Chehalem Mountains. At their large, vineyard-side tasting room you’ll look toward the mountains themselves, the dramatic rolling terrain of the Willamette Valley, and the estate vineyard. Choose from guided tastings of the winery’s vast selection, from Pinot Noir to Chardonnay and more — fresh breezes, gorgeous views and the patio beckon.
