Restaurants & Bars at McMenamins Hotel Oregon

The historic 1905 Hotel Oregon is set on the picture-perfect main street of the small town of McMinnville in Oregon’s famed Willamette Valley Wine Country, with numerous tasting rooms just a short walk away. Once home to a soda fountain, beauty parlor and bus depot, this charming structure now comprises 38 guestrooms, each with a historical namesake.

Carter the Great Bar:

At Carter the Great Bar in the Paragon Lounge, try a classic specialty cocktail – with a twist. After all, Carter the Great achieved fame for making a live elephant disappear, so it’s only fitting that we serve drinks inspired by the legend. Sip in the spectacularly lit, stained glassed bar itself, or grab a comfy seat in the Paragon Lounge, which beckons you to relax and savor the bygone magic of yesteryear.

Cellar Bar:

Steal to the cellar via the clandestine entrance of this 1920s-speakeasy-meets-modern-day-bar, where colored lights suspended from rustic planks and eclectic artwork set the scene for a good time. It’s easy to forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life here.

The Cellar also features Whiskeys in the Shed specialty menus exclusively for their Whiskey Club members.

McMenamins Pub:

Sit at one of the window booths to watch small-town life go by as you enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner, or grab a spot at the classic 40-ft long bar. When the hotel first opened in 1905, the restaurant was a gathering place for locals and travelers, as it is once again in a new century.

And much like the hotel’s earlier menus, McMenamins offers a variety of seasonal entrees ranging from hearty classics to homemade daily specials. Their handcrafted wine, beer, cider and spirits accompany the modern menu, and check out the specialty cocktails when you visit.

Rooftop Bar:

Rising five stories above McMinnville, the legendary Rooftop Bar offers a 360-degree view of the region. Pair that view with McMenamins’ handcrafted beer, wine, cider and spirits and you may just become a regular.
