Every summer, fields in Newberg burst into brilliant purple bloom, and artisans throughout Newberg embrace the season with handmade treats and gifts scented with lavender. The season peaks in July, when the annual Willamette Valley Lavender Festival & Plein Air Art Festival is held at the Chehalem Cultural Center. Follow the Newberg Lavender Trail to find farms open for u-pick flowers, and businesses throughout town where you can experience beautiful and delicious aspects of lavender from July 1-31st.
We are working on securing participating businesses for the July 2022 Newberg Lavender Trail and will announce them soon. To give you an idea of what to expect, see the below list of participating merchants from 2021.
